Councilors Absent: Claire Syrett Mayor Piercy opened the September 12, 2016, meeting of the Eugene City Council.
1. CEREMONIAL MATTERS
The Eugene Public Works Department was honored for being reaccredited by the American
Public Works Association.
2. PUBLIC FORUM
1. Kathy Lynn – Supported a resolution opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline.
2. Eva Winter – Supported improvements and other resources for Amazon Pool.
3. Cindy Koehler – Supported a living wage ordinance for the City of Eugene.
4. Thomas Brown – Supported a living wage ordinance for the City of Eugene.
5. Bob Cassidy – Supported a living wage ordinance for the City of Eugene.
6. Jennifer Frenzer-Knowlton – Supported a resolution opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline.
7. Joan Cypress – Supported bringing back the Eugene Celebration Parade.
8. Leigh Anne Jasheway – Supported bringing back the Eugene Celebration Parade.
9. Laurie Powell – Supported the climate recovery ordinance and action.
10. Bob Doppelt – Supported no-bikes policy on the Ridgeline trail between Fox Hallow and Dillard.
11. Cliff Gray – Supported a living wage ordinance for the City of Eugene.
12. Kristy Murray – Supported a living wage ordinance for the City of Eugene.
13. David Piccioni – Supported a living wage ordinance for the City of Eugene.
14. Lonnie Douglas – Supported a living wage ordinance for the City of Eugene.
15. Dharmika Henshel– Supported a resolution opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline.
