A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CLEAN WATER STATE REVOLVING
FUND LOAN AGREEMENT
The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. On August 8, 2024, the City submitted an application to the Oregon Department of
Environmental Quality ("DEQ") to fund the South of Beltline Highway Wastewater Extension
("the Project").
B. The estimated cost of the Project to be funded by DEQ is $1,650,000 and DEQ is
willing to issue a loan to the City of Eugene in that amount for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a
Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon, as follows:
Section 1. The Eugene City Manager is hereby authorized to undertake the loan and is
authorized and directed to negotiate the final terms and conditions of the loan documents, to
execute and deliver the final loan documents, and to do any other acts necessary or appropriate to
obtain the above-described Clean Water State Revolving Fund Loan on behalf of the City of
Eugene.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Resolution adopted and effective the 28th day of April, 2025.
