Roll Call Vote *time approximate Adjourn. 7:30 p.m. CITY COUNCIL MEETING and MEETING OF THE EUGENE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY Council Chamber, City Hall 1.PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. When you come to the podium, please give your name, city of residence, and, for Eugene residents, your ward if known. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes. Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council. 2. CONSENT CALENDAR (Note: Time permitting, action on the Consent Calendar may be taken at the 5:30 p.m. work session.) A.Approval of City Council Minutes - June 23, 2010, Work Session - June 28, 2010, Work Session July 26, 2010, Work Session - B.Approval of Tentative Working Agenda City Council President: I move to approve the items on the Consent Calendar. Roll Call Vote 5.ACTION: TransPlan and Metro Plan Amendments to Planning Period that Reflect Previously Adopted Coordinated Population Forecasts and Removal of Completed Projects (Eugene File MA 09-1) City Council President: I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill # 5030, included as Attachment A, amending TransPlan and the Metro Plan as set forth in Exhibits A and B of that ordinance, based on the findings of consistency set forth in Exhibit C of that ordinance. Roll Call Vote 6.ACTION: Recommendation on Proposal to Name New Willamette/I-5 Bridge the “Whilamut Passage Bridge” 7.ACTION: An Ordinance Concerning Downtown Public Safety Zones; Amending Ordinance No. 20419 to Extend the Sunset Date and Deadline for Providing a Recommendation Regarding Continued Enforcement of the Ordinance; and Providing an Immediate Effective Date City Council President: I move to adopt Council Bill # 5033, the proposed ordinance concerning amending Ordinance No. 20419 by extending the sunset date and deadline for providing a recommendation regarding continued enforcement of the Ordinance. Roll Call Vote The Mayor adjourns the meeting of the Eugene City Council and convenes a meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency. 8.ACTION: Urban Renewal Agency Commitment of Riverfront Urban Renewal District Funds as Match for TIGER II Grant for Franklin Multiway Boulevard Urban Renewal Agency President: move to direct the Agency Director to I commit to the use of Riverfront Urban Renewal District funds as the match for the TIGER II grant application and include the matching funds on the next supplemental budget after and if the grant is approved. Roll Call Vote The Mayor adjourns the meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency and reconvenes a meeting of the Eugene City Council.
