Renewal of Library Local Option Levy
City Council President:
I move to direct the City Manager to
prepare a measure for the November 7, 2006, general election ballot
to fund library services with a tax rate of $0.41 per $1000 of
assessed value, and bring the proposed ballot measure to the council
for consideration on the Consent Calendar for May 8.

Downtown Development Update - ORI (Sears Development Site)
City Council President:
I move to direct the City Manger to issue a
request for proposals within 30 days for the sale and development of the
Eugene City Council Agenda: April 12, 2006 L:\CMO\2006 Council Agendas\M060412\A060412S.doc
Sears site, with council consideration of the proposals to occur
following a 60-day period for submittal of proposals, and direct the City
Manager to continue to work with ORI to site its new facility downtown.
