City of Eugene, Oregon
DELEGATING TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF CENTRAL
SERVICES THE AUTHORITY TO AMEND THE ADMINISTRATIVE
POLICY MANUAL.
The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. Under the provisions of Chapter ITT, Section 15 of the Eugene Charter of 2002,
the City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City, and is specifically
authorized to appoint and remove all employees (except as otherwise provided in the Charter),
and to enforce all ordinances of the City.
B. On August 1, 2011, I issued Administrative order No. - 44 -11 -05 adopting the
City's Administrative Policy Manual (APM).
C. I find it would be more efficient and in the public interest to delegate to the
Executive Director of Central Service the authority to make amendments to the APM.
NOW, THERFORE,
The City Manager of the City of Eugene orders that:
11 The above findings are adopted.
2. The Executive Director of Central Services is authorized to amend the APM.
3. The Executive Director of Central Services is authorized to delegate the
responsibility of amending the APM to Central Services Division Managers.
