EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(h) Mayor: The Eugene City Council will now meet in Executive Session to consult with counsel concerning legal rights and duties regarding current litigation or litigation likely to be filed. The Executive Session is held pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(h). Representatives of the news media and designated staff shall be allowed to attend the executive session. All other members of the audience are asked to leave the room. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. No decision may be made in executive session. At the end of the executive session, we will return to open session and welcome the audience back into the room. * time approximate 7:30 p.m. CITY COUNCIL MEETING Council Chamber, City Hall 1.PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. When you come to the podium, please give your name, city of residence, and, for Eugene residents, your ward if known. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes. Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council. 2.CONSENT CALENDAR (Note: Time permitting, action on the Consent Calendar may be taken at the 5:30 p.m. work session.) Approval of Tentative Working Agenda City Council President: I move to approve the items on the Consent Calendar. Roll Call Vote 4.PUBLIC HEARING: Envision Eugene Draft Recommendation Manager: Introduces topic, presents background information. Mayor: Closes the public hearing. 5.ACTION: An Ordinance Concerning Infill Compatibility Standards Related to Multi- Family Developments, Multi-Family Zoning, Garbage and Recycling Screening, and Bicycle Parking; and Amending Sections 9.0500, 9.2750, 9.2751, 9.3125, 9.3626, 9.5500, 9.6105, 9.6410, 9.6740, 9.6745, and 9.8030 of the Eugene Code, 1971 (City File CA 11-2) City Council President : I move to approve Council Bill 5069, the proposed ordinance concerning infill compatibility standards related to multi-family developments, multi-family zoning, garbage and recycling screening, and bicycle parking, as contained in Attachment D, as modified by Option A contained in Attachment C.
