Mayor:
The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City
Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already
been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public
hearing.
Each person will have three minutes to speak. When you come to the podium,
please give your name, city of residence, and, for Eugene residents, your ward if
known. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light
will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red
light indicates the end of three minutes.
Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council.

Adoption of A Resolution Calling a City Election on November 6, 2012, for
the Purpose of Referring to the Legal Electors of the City of Eugene a
Measure Authorizing the Issuance of a Maximum of $43,000,000 of
General Obligation Bonds to Fund Street Preservation Projects and Bicycle
and Pedestrian Projects

I move to approve Resolution 5063 placing a GO bond
measure on the November 2012 ballot.

Approval of Motions Relating to Production of a Voters’ Pamphlet for the
November 6, 2012, Election
City Council President:
I move to direct the City Manager to publish and
distribute a local voters’ pamphlet for the election scheduled for November 6,
2012, on a GO bond to fund street preservation, and to authorize the
expenditure of funds from the General Fund contingency account that are
required to produce that voters’ pamphlet.
