Core Campus – Application for Multiple-Unit Property Tax
Exemption for Residential Property Located at 505 East
Broadway (The Hub in Eugene)
City Council President: I move to adopt a resolution approving a
Multiple-Unit Property Tax Exemption for residential property located
at 505 East Broadway, Eugene, Oregon (Core Campus/Applicant).

Note: Consideration of Item B will occur only if action is taken to approve the Core Campus
MUPTE application (Item A).

Surplus Property
City Council President: I move to authorize the City Manager to
negotiate and enter into a lease, with an option to purchase, the 901
Franklin Blvd. property to Core Campus consistent with the terms
outlined in the Agenda Item Summary.

Multi-Unit Property Tax Exemption (MUPTE) Program
City Council President: I move to direct the City Manager to prepare
and schedule a public hearing on an ordinance modifying the MUPTE
program consistent with the criteria included in Attachment A.

1.PUBLIC HEARING:
An Ordinance Concerning the EWEB Downtown Riverfront Property
Manager: Introduces topic, presents background information.
Mayor opens the public hearing: Those wishing to speak during the Public
Hearing must submit a completed “Request to Speak” form to the information desk,
prior to the beginning of the Public Hearing. When you come to the podium, please
give your name, city of residence, and, for Eugene residents, your ward if known; you
will have three minutes to comment. There are lights on the timer; the red light
indicates the end of three minutes.
Mayor: Closes the public hearing.
Mayor: Asks for questions or comments from the City Council.
