City Council Priority Issue – Develop a Strategy to Help the
Homeless in Eugene
City Council President:
I move to support a strategy to establish a
stable funding source to address prevention, intervention, and
treatment of homelessness in Eugene by appointing a
multijurisdictional (public/non-profit) committee and charging the
committee with the task of identifying a funding source, a revenue
goal, and an allocation process.

I move to direct the City Manager to
prepare a draft ordinance consistent with the model ordinance
adopted by other Oregon cities for City Council consideration.
