ORDINANCE NO. /a.~a~ <br />An Ordinance regulatir_g alleys and public utility ease- <br />ments in new plats to be filed in the City of Eugene; repealing all <br />ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith and providing <br />a penalty. <br />CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOL•LOW3: <br />Sn(~ineer or City Surveyor as provided by Section 92.100, Oregon <br />Revised Statutes, or by the Planning Commission of the City of Eugene, <br />there shall be provided in each block of said plat a public utility <br />easement or alley way extending from street to street, or from <br />street to contiguous property in such a manner that each lot may be <br />served therefrom. Said alleys and public utility easements shall be <br />not leaps than fourteen Yeet in width. <br />Before any said plat can be approved, there shall appear <br />thereon a restriction providing that no building, stricture, tree, <br />shrubbery or other obstruction shall be placed or located on or in <br />said public utility easement or alley. <br />Beforo auy said plat shall be approved, said public utility <br />easements and alleys, insofar as is reasonably possible, shall be <br />located so that the same shall connect with adjacent public utility <br />of the City of Eugene oY a violu.tion oY this oralnance snap Ce <br />punishable by fine oY not to exceed $200.00. <br />Passed by the Common Council Approved by the Mayor this <br />
