<br /> .Chairman Lamb of the Street -Commi ttee reported that Mr. C. F. Hyde desired
<br /> to place a retaining wall about six feet into Indiana Avenue, and that the street
<br /> I committee felt that owing to the location this oould be done without prejUdice to
<br /> the City's interest in the street, and moved that permission be granted to C. F.
<br /> Hyde to construct the wall as requested with the distinct understanding that no
<br /> permanent right is granted by the City, and that Mr. Hyde or his suocessors in >
<br /> business shall remove the retaining wall and any rights or privileges oonferred
<br /> upon them at any time when in,the judgment of the Council it becomes necessary to l' move
<br /> said wall or alter the condition of said street. The motion was seconded and
<br /> carried;
<br /> The quest,ion of whether the City should impose a charge upon the W.C. 'l. U
<br /> for burning grass on property owned by them in the Huddleston's traot was considere , ,. /1
<br /> and motion made, seconded, and carried that no charge be entered against them for
<br /> thi s service.

<br /> the request and directed that the ~ngineer's plans be prepared and the neoessary
