Rugh to the ,City covering Lots 4 and 5, Block 25, <br />College Hill Park, subject to taxes and municipal assessments, was on motion accepted <br />and the Recorder instructed to pay the delin~uent taxes and record the Deed. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Bond furnished by the National Surety Corporation on John Fields as <br />assistant Treasurer was ordered agproved and filed. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />1\ <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Reports of Fire Chief, Chief of Police, City Attorney and Chairman of the <br />Health COIMlittee, alleging that buildings on the premises at 1601 Orchard Street, <br />consistinf, of a box house, a frame barn ill1d a woodshed are in an extreme state of <br />delapidation, were read, and the following Resolution was presented and a motion <br />made, seconded and carried to adopt the same. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIOl~ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Common Council of the <br /> <br />City of ~~gene, reports from the Chief of Police, the City Attorney, the <br /> <br />Chairman of the Health Department and the Chief of the Fire De9artment, <br /> <br />each and all denouncing the buildings on that ce~tain premises desienated <br /> <br />at 1601 Orchard Street, in Eugene, Oregon, as dangerous buildings as <br /> <br />I <br />\ <br />II <br />I <br />Ii <br />Ii <br />\1 <br />II <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />defined in Ordinance No. 8292, and recommending to the Co'mmon Coo.ncil <br />that the same be dismantled, and that complaints have been made by a <br /> <br />large number of residents livin~ around and near said building. <br /> <br />Therefore <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY rrHE COMi'.ION COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE: <br /> <br />That a public hearing is hereby called to be held in the <br /> <br />office of the City Recorder in the City Hall in the City of Eu@ene at <br /> <br />7:30 olclock P.
