The ayes and nays were called, councilmen voting aye: Lamb, <br />Hendershott, Reid, Page, Hanns, ~arrington and Bond; nay, none; absent, Carlson. <br />The ordinance was declared passed and numbered 8539. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />32 <br />I <br /> <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Recorder to execute a lease on behalf <br />of the Internal Revenue Commission for leasing Room #11 ,in the City Hall building <br />at an annual r ental of $120.00, was upon motion Gade and duly seconded, adopted.,. <br />The proposal of increasing the rent, was herewith dropped when City Engineer Clubb <br />reported that the annual rental rate is based on 23i per square feet or $66.47 for <br />289 sq,. ft,., the floor. ar.ea occupied by the Commission. >::(Resol appears on Page 86). <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />33 <br />I <br /> <br />Councilman Hendershott requested that the Playground Commission be granted <br />permission to use Room #9 for the Playground offices during the coming season.
