The Board recommends that the request be denied and that the <br /> city wreck the house at such time as it is unable tosecure a suitable tenant for <br /> the premises in its present condition. Motion was made and seconded unanimously <br /> 1'7.7 approving the reco:rmnendation of the Board. <br /> Request was received from Donald Husband for client, Mrs. Wyatt, asking <br /> for permission to convert the large house at 1108 Jach::son Street into a two family <br /> apartment house. The Bc:a I'd recommends that the request be granted on condition <br /> that no exterior changes be made to the house. Motion was made and seconded <br /> IS; unanimously approving the recommendation of the Board. <br /> Request was received from T. A. Williams asking to be allowed to erect <br /> an office and display room in connection with his green houses located on the <br /> Isouthwest corner of the intersection of Fifteenth Avenue and Walnut Street, said <br /> building to be located within ten feet of the property line on Fifteenth Avenue. <br /> rhe Board recommends that he be granted a permit to erect the building within <br /> fifteen feet of the property line. Motion was made and seconded unanimously <br /> approving the recommendation of the Board. After the vote Mr. Williams, who was <br /> ~resent, objected to the restriction of a 15 foot setback. Mr. Clubb explained that <br /> ~he business was a non-conforming use for the district and that the set back had <br /> ~een recommended to keep in line with other residences. It was suggested that Mr. <br /> 19- Williams had better drop the matter as he might loose the permit entirely. <br /> Referring to the A. L. Williamson request referred at the last council <br /> meeting to the Boord of Appeals, the l)oard reported that Mr. Williamson had <br /> I hppeared before them and it was now their recommendation that the council refer <br /> ~his proposition to the Planning Commission for action at their meeting of <br /> December 3. A resolution was presented to refer this matter to the Planning <br /> 20~ bommission and unanimously approved. <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the City of Eugene have <br /> referred to the City Council an application of A. L.
