THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT WOULD ALLOW THE PARKING Of TRAILERS IN A TRAILER <br /> PARK AND IN AN M-I, M-2 OR M-3 ZONE, AfTER A VARIANCE HAD BEEN APPROVED BY THE COUNCIL AND WHERE <br /> SUCH TRA IL ER WAS TO BE USED IN THE M-I, M-2 OR M-3 ZONE IN CONNECTION WITH A BUSI~ SS OR INDUSTRIAL <br /> O~ RATION, OR FOR LIVING QUARTERS FOR A NIGHT WA!CHM~N OR A CARETAKER. THE ORDINANCE DOES NOT RE- <br /> STRICT THE PARKING OF TRAILERS IN A TRAILER PARK, BUT WITH RESPECT TO THE ZONE CLASSIFICATIONS FOR <br /> INDIVIDUAL TRAILERS, IT WOULD REQUIRE A PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE POSTED BEFORE SUCH A VARI- <br /> ANCE IS GRANTED. THE ORDINANCE ALSO IS NOT RETROACTIVE AND WOULD APPLY TO THOSE TRAILERS WHICH ARE <br /> PARKED AFTER THE DATE OF THE ENACTMENT OF THE ORDINANCE. <br /> SOME QUESTION WAS HAD ON THIS MATTER AND IT WAS RECOMMENDED THAT THE PROPOSED ORIDIDNANCE BE <br /> ADOPTED. IF THIS WAS DONE, MR. SKILLERN WOULD BE ALLOWED TO <br /> COMMENCE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MEDICAL-DENTAL CLINIC, BUT WOULD HAVE NO GUARANTiE THAT HE WOULD BE <br /> ABLE TO EXTEND THIS INTO THE NORTHERLY PORTION OF HIS PROPERTY AT 940 COBURG ROAD UNTIL A DETERMI- <br /> NATION Of TRAfFIC PATTERNS WAS MADE OVER THE NEXT FEW YEA~S.
