JACK FOSTER SUGGESTED TO THE COUNCIL THAT PERMITS <br />BE ISSUED TO DELIVERY TRUCKS fOR USE IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA SO THE DRIVERS Of <br />THESE VARIOUS_TRUCKS WOULD NOT HAVE TO FEED THE METERS IN THE TRUCK PARKING <br />ZONES, SUGGESTING THAT A $5.00 PERMIT BE ISSUED fOR EACH DELIVERY TRUCK. HE <br />STATED IT WAS NOT HIS INTENTION THAT SERVICE TYPE VEHICLES SUCH AS P-LUMBERS <br />AND ELECTRICIANS BE INCLUDED IN THIS CATEGORY. THE PERMIT WOULD BE ISSUED <br />TO THOSE TRUCKS DELIVERING MERCHANDISE TO STORES AND RESTAURANTS AND OTHER <br />BUSINESSES.
