A Yote was taken. The motion carried. <br /> <br />A vote was taken on the amendment suggested by Mr. Teague to add three local amendments to the Code. <br />The motion failed with Mr. McDonald and Mr. Teague voting in favor of the motion, and Dr. Purdy, <br />Mr. Williams, Mr. Mohr and Mrs. Hayward opposed. <br /> <br />A vote was taken on'the main motion to adopt the 1968 National Electrical Code with state amendments, <br />as recommended by the staff. <br /> <br />Mr. Teague and Mr. McDonald ~oted no. He .said the Council was being consistent with <br />the recently adopted policy to get changes in codes which affect the local and national interest.
