He <br /> said he hopes the committee will include consideration of a regional library <br /> system when it prepares a financing plan. <br /> III. Consequently, he recommended that the public hearing be held but <br /> that the council.s action be postponed. <br /> . <br /> Mayor Obie opened the public hearing. <br /> e There being no requests to testify, Mayor Obie closed the public hearing. <br /> Mayor Obie recessed the meeting of the Eugene City Council and convened a <br /> meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency. <br /> IV. EUGENE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY RESOLUTION CONCERNING REAL PROPERTY <br /> DISPOSITION PROCEDURES <br /> City Manager Micheal Gleason said the ordinance and background material were <br /> not distributed to the councilors. Consequently, he recommended that the <br /> public hearing be held but that council action be postponed. <br /> Mayor Obie opened the public hearing. <br /> There being no requests to testify, Mayor Obie closed the public hearing. <br /> Mr. Holmer expressed concern about the public notices of the public hearing. <br /> Mr. Gleason said notice was given to the general public and to mass media <br /> representatives.
