CONSIDERATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO THE EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN <br />PARTNERSHIP <br /> <br />Ms. Ehrman said the applicants for the Eugene positions on the <br />Eugene/Springfield Metropolitan Partnership Board of Directors are Daryl <br />Egbert, Charles Schrader, Nancy Willard, Bob Fenstermacher, Tom Hoyt, and <br />Jeanne Wagenknecht. <br /> <br />The councilors turned in their ballots. <br /> <br />Later in the meeting, Ms. Ehrman announced the results of the balloting and <br />made the following motion: <br /> <br />Ms. Ehrman moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, that the following <br />persons should be appointed as the Eugene representatives on <br />the Eugene/Springfield Metropolitan Partnership Board of <br />Directors for 1987 (terms to e~pire December 31, 1987): <br /> <br />Bob Fenstermacher, 3505 Spring Boulevard <br />Thomas Hoyt, 975 Oak <br />Jeanne Wagenknecht, 460 Palomino Drive <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously, 7:0. <br /> <br />IV. EUGENE/SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN PARTNERSHIP QUARTERLY REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Micheal Gleason introduced Vickie Dietmeyer, Executive Director <br />of the Eugene/Springfield Metropolitan Partnership. Ms. Dietmeyer reviewed <br />the Metropolitan Partnership Quarterly Report dated November 12, 1986. <br /> <br />Ms. Dietmeyer said the Executive Committee of the Partnership recommended that <br />consideration be given to decreasing the size of the 44-member Board of <br />Di rectors next year. She di scussed recent admi ni strat i ve changes in the <br />Partnership. She distributed brochures titled "The Ten Most Wanted List" and <br />"Eugene/Springfield Metropolitan Partnership.1I She discussed a project to <br />research each of the primary industry targets identified in the Fantus Report, <br />the formation of a Recruitment Advisory Council and a Forest Products Task <br />Force, and secondary wood products. <br /> <br />Answering questions from Ms. Wooten, Ms. Dietmeyer said former members of the <br />Oregon-Pacific Economic Development Corporation are not specifically <br />designated on the Partnership Board of Directors.
