The motion carried unanimously. <br /> CB 2668--An ordinance authorizing rezoning from County RA <br /> Suburban Residential District to City RA Suburban <br /> Residential District and application of City Residential <br /> Sign District for property located north of Division <br /> Avenue, east and west of Ross Lane. <br /> Councilor Obie moved, seconded by Councilor Smith, that findings <br /> supporting the rezoning as set forth in Planning Commission staff <br /> notes and minutes of July 12, 1983 be adopted by reference thereto; <br /> that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, <br /> with unanimous consent of the council; and that enactment be <br /> considered at this time. Roll call vote. Paving Roosevelt Boulevard from Garfield to Highway 99 North (845) <br /> Mr. Gleason introduced Bert Teitze1 , Public Works Department, who reviewed the <br /> staff memorandum of July 19, 1983. <br /> Councilor Lindberg asked whether this would be an appropriate time to consider the <br /> process for the allocation of the remainder of the Jobs Bill funds. Mr. G1 eason <br /> responded that staff was not ready to make a presentation on this issue. Thi s will <br /> be brought back as a separate item, to council, in the future. Councilor Lindberg <br /> said that there was concern in the community that decisions regarding the Jobs Bill <br /> funds were being made by staff with too little additional input, and suggested that <br /> the Community Development Committee be part of the decision-making process. <br /> Mr. Gleason agreed that the CDC and Eugene Private Industry Counc~l should be <br /> involved; Councilor Lindberg suggested adding the Vagrancy Task Force.
