Ms. Schue clarified that more research was needed with regard to the appointment to the Public Soliciations Committee and that action on that appointment would e occur at a later meeting. Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. In the same memo to the council, the Mayor had notified the council of his appointments to the following: Steve Hessel Gambling Committee Term to Expire 1/1/86 2438 University Street John Rutledge Gambling Committee Term to Expire 1/1/86 Police Department David Williams Glenwood Citizens Indefinite Term 2185 Essex Lane Advisory Group L. Mayor's Presentation of Eugene Art Poster Mayor Keller said he would be presenting a copy of the Eugene Art Poster to Governor Atiyeh at 12:30 p.m. on December 21, 1983. He said he would also express to the Gove~nor the council's appreciation for the work of the Oregon Art Council. M. Appointment to the Design Review Committee for 6th/7th Avenues Councilor Holmer said he was concerned with the size and composition of the e Design Review Committee and suggested that it be expanded. Mayor Keller said the council was only considering the appointment of Mr. Hansen as the council's representative at that time. Mr. Gleason said council had directed staff to quickly establish the committee so work could begin on recommendations to the Planning Commission. Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, to appoint Dick Hansen as the City Council representative to the Design Review Committee for 6th and 7th avenues. Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 8:0. Mayor Keller said he would discuss the expansion of the committee with Mr. Holmer at a later time. N.
