<br />Mrs. Shirey moved seconded by Mr. Hamel to request the Joint Housing <br />Committee to reserve the funds for a single-parent project. <br /> <br />Mr. Williams questioned reserving funds when proposals for other types of <br /> <br />housing may be presented. <br /> <br />With consent of the second, Mrs. Shirey changed the motion to include <br />a time limi t of six months. Vacation of West 2nd Avenue from Jefferson to Madison (Jongeward/Howard)(SV 74-7) <br />Manager noted that negotiations had resolved the value of the land to be vacated <br />to the satisfaction of both the property owner and the city. <br /> <br />Public hearing was held with no testimony presented. <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 760 - Vacating West 2nd Avenue from Jefferson Street to <br />Madison Street, read the first time on March 24,1975 <br />and held pending negotiation on value of land to be vacated, was read the <br />second time by council bill number and title only, there being no Council <br />member present requesting that it be read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved second by Mrs. Beal that the bill be approved and given final <br />passage; Rollcall vote. All Council members present voting aye, the bill was <br />declared passed and numbered 17631. <br /> <br />C. Liquor Licenses <br />1.
