Mr. Lieuallen requested clarification <br /> of the process, wondering since a motion was on the floor if an <br /> item could be set over before action was taken. Joyce Benj ami n , <br /> City Attorney, reviewed Code, which indicated any two Councilors <br /> could request an item to be set over, and there was no need to <br /> take action on the motion. <br /> 2. Community Schools Coordinating Committee--Mayor said he had <br /> received only one nominee for the position, Carolyn Higgins. <br /> Mr. Obie moved, seconded by Mr. Haws, to approve the appoint- e <br /> mente Motion carried unanimously. <br /> D. State Revenue Sharing--Manager reported a bill had been passed <br /> making State revenue sharing funds available to the City. However, <br /> between now and July 31, it would be necessary for the City to con- <br /> duct two public hearings, one by the Budget Committee and one by <br /> Ci ty Council. Council would have to pass an ordinance stating the <br /> City wished the money and had held two public hearings. A Budget <br /> Committee meeting would be scheduled Tuesday, July 19, and the pUblic <br /> hearing for the Council would be scheduled July 25. <br /> E. Legislative Report--Paget Engen will report on Legislative action <br /> which will affect the City at July 13 Council meeting. <br /> F. L-COG Executive Director--Manager introduced Tom Jenkinson, L-COG <br /> Executive Director. <br /> G. Intern--Manager introduced Norm Yates, intern with the Human Rights <br /> Commissions. <br /> H.
