Concurrent annexation/rezonin , ro ert located <br /> on both sides of Elizabeth Street Hein, Jessen, <br /> County RA to City R-1 <br /> Unanimously recommended by Planning Commission June 6, 1978. John <br /> Porter, Planning Director, said the annexation and zone change involved <br /> six ownerships (a little over 10 acres) with five si~gle-fami1y <br /> residences on the properties. All owners had requested annexation and <br /> rezoning. The property is located within the urban service boundary <br /> area and City services can be provided. Thus, the Planning Commission <br /> unanimously recommended approval. - <br /> No ex parte contacts or conflicts of interest were declared by <br /> Councilors. <br /> Staff Notes qnd Minutes were entered into the record. <br /> Public Hearing was opened. <br /> Gary Hughes, representing the people who had applied for annexation <br /> including Mr. Hein, was available to answer questions. <br /> Public Hearing was closed, there being no further testimony <br /> presented. <br /> Res. No. 2962 -- Forwardi ng to Bounda ry Commi ssi on recommenda ti on for <br /> annexation of property located north of Jessen Drive <br /> on both sides of Elizabeth Street was read by number <br /> and title. <br /> Mr. Bradley moved, seconded by Mr. Delay, that findings supporting <br /> annexation as set forth in Planning Commission staff notes and <br /> minutes of June 6, 1978, be adopted by reference thereto; and that <br /> the resolution be adopted.
