<br />C.B. 1742--Authorizing rezoning from RA Suburban Residential District <br /> to R-1j10A PD Limited Multiple-Family Residential District e <br /> with a density limitation of 10 units per acre and with PUD <br /> procedures property located east of Coburg Road between Bailey <br /> Lane and Tandy Turn was read by council bill number and title <br /> only, there being no Councilor present requesting that it be <br /> read in full. <br /> Mr. Hamel moved, seconded by Mr. Bradley, that findings supporting <br /> the rezoning as set forth in Planning Commission staff notes <br /> and minutes of July 18, 1978, be adopted by reference thereto; <br /> that the bill be read the second time by council bill number <br /> only, with unanimous consent of the Council; and that enactment <br /> be considered at this time. Motion carried unanimously and <br /> the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. <br /> Mr. Hamel moved, seconded by Mr. Bradley that the bill be approved <br /> and given final passage. Roll ca 11 vote. All Councilors present <br /> voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 18252. <br />2. Located between Marist High School and Beltline Road lmmediately <br /> east of the Willamette River (Z 78-18) (Needham) <br /> Recommended by Planning Commission July 18, 1978 <br />Mr. Saul commented that Eugene had earlier adopted an amendment to the <br />1990 Plan which made the area suitable for medium-density development. <br />Following that, a 140-acre request came in around the particular site <br />seeking annexation and designation as R-2/PD. Staff contacted the e <br />owners of the property in question and they did not want to be included <br />at that time. All surrounding property has been zoned R-2jPD. The <br />property in question now has a new owner who wishes to proceed. <br />No Councilors declared ex parte contacts or conflicts of interest. <br />Staff notes and minutes were entered into the record.
