Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. Civic Center: Consideration of Master Site Plan--Memo has been distri- <br />buted to Council members, as well as additional materials in a separate <br />packet. <br /> <br />Mr. Don Lutes, of Lutes/Sanetel, Architects, gave a presentation on the <br />master plan design concept. He presented aerial views showing traffic <br />patterns connecting the major downtown centers, parking access and egress, <br />and parking areas within a five-minute walk of the Civic Center site. <br />The two layers for automobile parking can be constructed under the project <br />blocks (holding approximately 1,000 cars) if financing is available. <br />It is suggested that the performing arts center be on the western-most <br />block, with the hotel development on the eastern-most block, in part, <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />1/17/79--3 <br /> <br />28 <br />
