Balloting and Scheduling Interview Dates for Appointments to Community <br />Development Committee and Citizens Involvement Committee <br /> <br />1. ~ommunity Development Committee--Ballots were cast by Councilors. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, to interview Stephanie <br />Slayton, Douglas Fish, and David Mandelblatt, for the vacancy on <br />the Community Development Committee. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />2. Citizens Involvement Committee--Ballots were cast by Councilors. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that Mary Hudzikiewicz, <br />Darcy Marentette, Daniel Anderson, Gerald Lindhorst, Jeannie <br />Walton, Denyse McGriff, and Sharry Manning be interviewed for the <br />three vacanies on the Citizens Involvement Committee. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws requested staff response as to how Mr. Hamel could be on <br />leave of absence and still vote. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Councilors that they meet at 5:00 <br />p.m., McNutt Room, April 30, 1979, to interview the candidates. <br /> <br />D. Meetings Schedule. <br /> <br />1. Budget Committee: April 25,1979,7:30 p.m., Council Chambers, <br />Public Hearing. <br /> <br />2. Budget Committee: April 30, 1979, 7:30 p.m., McNutt Room, Workshop ~ <br />on Revenue Problems and real estate transfer tax. <br /> <br />3. Double Taxation Study Committee: May 1, 1979, noon, Conference <br />Room A, Public Service Building. <br /> <br />E. Meeting Rescheduled. <br /> <br />The Thursday, April 26th, noon meeting of the Legislative Subcommittee <br />will not meet. The next meeting will be Wednesday, May 2,10:45 a.m., <br />McNutt Room. <br /> <br />F. KBDF--KZEL Invite Interviews--If the Councilors would like to give <br />interviews, they may either directly contact the stations or let <br />City Manager's office know. <br /> <br />G. MATe Meeting, May 17, 1979--Gretchen Miller will be out of town, so a <br />substitute is needed to represent Council. <br /> <br />H. Handicapped ~ommission--Resignation of Al Stockstad was accepted. <br />Next week there will be a report on the Commissions and suggestions <br />for replacements. <br /> <br />I. Field Burning--Manager reported HB 472 will probably be in committee <br />for another ten days.
