W. Hamel, Scott Lieuallen, Eric Haws, Brian Obie,
Gretchen Miller, and Emily Schue.
I. ITEMS FROM MAYOR AND COUNCIL, APPOINTMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS AGENDA ADJUSTMENTS
A. Revenue Task Force Alternates
Mr. Obie wondered about the policy on alternates serving on the
Revenue Task Force. Mayor Keller clarified that a Councilor can be
his/her representative's alternate.
B. OLCC Memo
Mr. Delay referred to a memo received recently on a new Dispenser
Class C license. He wondered what the City's responsibilities would
be on this particular license.
e It was understood that staff would review and bring back clarification
of the memo.
C. Employment Training Advisory Committee Reappointments
The Manager reported that as Jonathan West is no longer on the LCC
Board, he is not eligible to continue on the committee as representing
education. In addition, the remaining members' terms expire
September 30, 1979, and should be reappointed since they have served
very short terms.
Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, to approve reappointment
of Irv Fletcher, Rosemary Batori, Ray McIver, and Betty Smith,
terms expiring September 30, 1980, and to advertise for 30 days
for a replacement for Mr. West's position. Motion carried
unanimously.
D. Room Tax Committee Appointment
Manager reported that Mrs. Fulbright's term is expiring and it is
not known whether she wishes to continue. In addition, there are no
applications on file naming the Room Tax Committee as the applicant's
first choice. It was understood that staff would check with Mrs.
Fulbright to see if she wishes to be reappointed and bring an answer
e back to the next City Council meeting.
9/12/79--1
507
