Land Use Request <br /> <br /> Applicants Charles Larson and Don Furtick (Applicants) hereby request that the Laurel <br /> Hill Refinement Plan be amended to plan designate property they own (Subject Property) at the <br /> intersection of Laurel Hill Drive and Moon Mountain Drive as Commercial. The Subject <br /> Property is identified as assessor's map 18-03-2-3, tax lots 199, 200, and 300. See Exhibit A, <br /> TRS Map. <br /> <br /> It appears that the current plan designation for all three lots is Low Density Residential. <br /> As explained above, Applicants are requesting an amendment to designate the subject property <br /> Commercial. All three lots are currently zoned R-1, Low-Density Residential. These <br /> designations will be discussed further in section III. Background below. <br /> <br /> Because the proposed amendment is intended for a specific site and changes only the plan <br /> designation for this site, no amendment to the text of the Laurel Hill Plan or the Metro Plan is <br /> needed. At most, the land use diagram included in the Laurel Hill Refinement Plan will need to <br /> be updated to reflect the proposed change because the Laurel Hill Refinement Plan designations <br /> <br /> II-B-1 <br /> <br /> <br />
