That the center work'with tile Public Works and Planning Deparmmnts in a attempt to <br /> improve tile efficiency and design of the. existing on-site parking spaces in the driveway <br /> areas. <br /> <br /> 2. That the staffpark on the church parking lot and that a copy of the agreement for the <br /> lease 9f these Spaces be provided to the Ci.ty of Eugene. <br /> <br /> ~. That the appl[cmlt request the Public Works Department to remove'the yellow stripe near <br /> .the Kaufman Center drivewayi if this can be done safely, pm~icular[y in conjunction with <br /> condition #1. ~ <br /> <br /> 4. That the applicant request the Public Works Department to sign on-street parking on the <br /> perimeter of tile Kaufman lot to a two hour maximum. <br /> <br /> 5~ That a date be set approximate six months from this time for a further public hearing on <br /> the modification of this permit. The hearing shall be held if any one of the following <br /> <br /> · should occur more that thirty, (30) days prior to the date set for tile hearing: <br /> <br /> 6. That tile applicant, based upon empirical data gathered since the August 26. 1980 <br /> hearing, request relief from any of the conditions of modification imposed. <br /> <br /> 7. That any of the persons previously aggrieved by tile pa"king situation wishes to.have <br /> further consideration of the parking question. <br /> <br /> 8. That any new complaints are received by the Planning Department by residents of the <br /> area concerning the parking situation. <br /> <br /> 9. That tile Planning Department bequest further consideration of the parkin~ situation at the <br /> Trude Kaufman Center. <br /> The decision of tile hearing official als0 stated that, "If tile situation five months fi-om now is an <br /> acceptable one to all concerned, no public hearing will be held." There is nothing ill the record <br /> between August 28. 1980 and February28. 1981 to indicate that any of the conditions of approval <br /> were ever complied with or that a second hearing was ever held. However. a memo from the <br /> Zoning Section to tile Planning Department dated May 4, 1982 does suggest that few, if ally of <br /> tile conditions, were met and that a second hearing was notheld within tile six month time period <br /> applied by tile Hearings Official. <br /> <br />In 1984. a request to remove the lot line between Tax Lots 9200 and 9300 was received and <br />approved by the plannin$ division. At some point during this same period, plans for a six space <br />parking area behind tile existing Annex were submitted to Public Works for review. While it is <br />unclear fi'om tile file when this parking area was approved and constructed, the parking area was <br />in existence in 1096 when a second conditional use permit was submitted related to tile.
