Tune In to "Workinq City" <br />Be sure to tune in to the January episode of "Working City," which will air for the first time on <br />Wednesday, January 5, at 8 p.m. on Metro TV (Comcast channel 21), the local government channel. <br />The newest program will feature the Eugene Library, which is celebrating 100 years of service to the <br />community. <br /> <br />Another segment will provide information on how people can inventory their property so they are more <br />likely to help recover it in the event of theft or fire loss. January's "Cool Job" feature highlights the work <br />of a facilities project manager on the recent Eugene Depot renovation. <br /> <br />"Working City" is a collaborative effort, financed by the City of Eugene's 2% telecom tax fund and <br />produced by LC©G's Metro Television. The show repeats five times each week: Sundays at 11:30 a.m., <br />Mondays at 5 p.m. (before Eugene City Council meeting cablecasts), Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. (after City <br />Council meeting replays), Wednesdays at 8 p.m., and Fridays at 9:30 p.m. More information about the <br />cablecast schedule is available at www.metrotv.orq. <br /> <br />"Working City" is a unique opportunity to provide useful information about the City of Eugene's diverse, <br />high-quality services and programs.
