Tune In to "Workinq City"
Be sure to tune in to the January episode of "Working City," which will air for the first time on
Wednesday, January 5, at 8 p.m. on Metro TV (Comcast channel 21), the local government channel.
The newest program will feature the Eugene Library, which is celebrating 100 years of service to the
community.

Another segment will provide information on how people can inventory their property so they are more
likely to help recover it in the event of theft or fire loss. January's "Cool Job" feature highlights the work
of a facilities project manager on the recent Eugene Depot renovation.

"Working City" is a collaborative effort, financed by the City of Eugene's 2% telecom tax fund and
produced by LC©G's Metro Television. The show repeats five times each week: Sundays at 11:30 a.m.,
Mondays at 5 p.m. (before Eugene City Council meeting cablecasts), Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. (after City
Council meeting replays), Wednesdays at 8 p.m., and Fridays at 9:30 p.m. More information about the
cablecast schedule is available at www.metrotv.orq.

"Working City" is a unique opportunity to provide useful information about the City of Eugene's diverse,
high-quality services and programs. For more information, contact Jan Bohman, City Manager's Office,
682-5587.

EUGENE CITY COUNCIL NEWSLETTER PAGE 3
December 22, 2004
