y The type of commercial clients proposed for the site will be dictated
by the market place. To date, we have already been approached by
numerous restaurants, which include family dinning, casual dining,
coffee shops and delis; variety stores, pharmacy stores, banks, credit
unions, personal service stores like hair salons, barber shop, fitness
related, etc.

~ Based on our responses from the citizens of Santa Clara, the
commercial real estate brokers that have called on us and retail
clients that have approach us, the need for additional retail sites in
Santa Clara is overwhelming. I have heard complaints from Santa
Clara residents like:

o I have to drive to Gateway or Valley River to take my family out
to dinner.

o I have to drive to Delta Oaks, West 11 th or other community
shopping areas for my basic shopping needs.

o I want a Starbucks in Santa Clara! !

My wife Janet is still questioning my sanity as to why I got involved in this
property. And I guess my answer is still the same. I want to build
sometime on this site that I can be proud of and the community will use and
enjoy. For this to work, I need the help of this group, the city and its staff,
and the community to make this a financial viable development.

Thanks for hearing me.

Sincerely,

#~r-

Steve Graves
