My initial view is that the recommendation to <br />designate the property as R-1 is an ultra-conservative approach from a planning perspective. <br />Whlle this leaves the "door open" for future action, it also requires it. I recognize that action is <br />required for zone change and plan amendment regardless, however, change from R-1 to a more <br />appropriate designation seems like a "set-up" for significantly increased opposition than from the <br />current Pl designation, The property borders significantly more intensive uses in both <br />1 <br />
