PLANNING COMMISSION DELIBERATION: Minor Code Amendments <br /> <br />Mr. McCown, seconded by Mr. Carroll, moved to recommend approval of <br />the Consent Items, Minor Code Amendments 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, and <br />18. The motion passed unanimously, 7:0. <br /> <br />Mr. Carroll moved to recommend approval of Amendment 3—Residential <br />Density Calculations. There was no second to the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Duncan, seconded by Ms. Kneeland, moved to recommend approval <br />of Amendment 3—Residential Density Calculations as indicated in the <br />staff report, with a modification from .75 to .50, showing half would be <br />above and half would be below. He further moved that the issue be <br />forwarded to the Infill Compatibility Standards Task Team for further <br />analysis by staff and Task Team to return to the Planning Commission <br />with a recommendation. <br /> <br />Mr. Duncan withdrew the motion. Ms. Kneeland withdrew the second to <br />the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Carroll, seconded by Mr. Lawless, moved to recommend approval of <br />Amendment 3—Residential Density Calculations and further consideration <br />by the Infill Compatibility Standards Task Team. The motion passed 5:2, <br />with Commissioners Carroll, Lawless, Hledik, Beierle and McCown <br />voting in favor and Commissioners Duncan and Kneeland voting in <br />opposition of the motion. <br /> <br />Mr. Hledik, seconded by Mr. McCown, moved to recommend approval of <br />Amendment 4—Building Height Measurement in Residential Zones <br />extended to seven feet rather than five feet.
