APPENDIX M <br /> <br />Summary of Management Plan for the Enterprise Zone <br /> <br />Management of the West Eugene Enterprise Zone will occur within the City of Eugene's <br />Planning & Development Department (Community Development Division). Denny <br />Braud, Development Analyst in the Community Development Division, will oversee <br />management of the proposed West Eugene Enterprise Zone. He served as Zone Manager <br />for the expired West Eugene Enterprise Zone from 1993 through 1997, and has continued <br />to manage "grandfathered" investments in the expired zone for the past seven years. <br />Historically, zone management has successfully processed 74 enterprise zone tax <br />exemptions. <br /> <br />Lane County Assessment & Taxation will continue to play an active role in the <br />management of the proposed West Eugene Enterprise Zone. Assessment & Taxation <br />currently oversees management of activity in the expired West Eugene Enterprise Zone, <br />along with activity in four other Lane County zones - Springfield, Florence, Cottage <br />Grove, and Oakridge/Westfir. <br /> <br /> <br />
