The minimum land division size for the F-1/RCP zone and the F-2/RCP zone <br /> shall comply with Lane Code 16.210 and 16.211. <br /> <br /> h. Require that nonforest uses other than a residence on Nonimpacted Forest Lands <br /> be compatible with forest uses, practices, and operations on adjacent and nearby <br /> forest lands; and that there be provided valid reasons why the use should be sited <br /> on Nonhnpacted For~t Land or evidence that the proposed site is on land <br /> generally unsu/table for forest uses. <br /> <br /> New structures must comply with the Sitin~ and Fire Safety Standards of Lane <br /> Code 16.210 and 16.211. <br /> <br /> i. Require that nonforest uses on Impacted Forest Lands be compatible with <br /> farm/forest us~, operations, and practices on adjacent and nearby farm and/or <br /> forest lands. <br /> <br /> Recreational activities in the Park and Recreation (PR/RCP) zone district within <br /> resource areas that are outside lands for which a built or committed exception to a <br /> statewide plamfing _goal has been taken shall be limited to those uses consistent <br /> with Statewide Planning Goals 3 and 4. <br /> <br /> j. Parcel sizes for Nonimpacted Forest Land must conserve forest land for <br /> nonimpacted forest uses and be consistent with the Nonimpacted Forest Land <br /> Zone General Characteristics. <br /> <br /> The effects of a proiected shortfall in timber supplies within the near future are of <br /> considerable concern to Lane County. Lane Cotmty supports efforts by state and <br /> federal agencies in developing plans that will address the situation. Lane County <br /> intends to be an active, committed participm~t in such.plan development. <br /> <br /> k. The following division standards are consistent with and will implement this <br /> <br /> (1) Forty acre (1/4 1/'1 section)'minimum lot size for purpose of land dMsion. <br /> (2) Deviation from the ~10 acre minimum lot size may be conditionally <br /> allowed if the land division is for the purpose of separating an existing <br /> residence from the adjoining forest land, if the parcel containing the <br /> residence is limited to the least amount of area possible so as to maximize <br /> forest uses on the adjacent forest land. <br /> (3) Lot line adjustments for purposes other than the creation of an additional <br /> lot are permitted. <br /> <br /> 1. Area requirements for hnpacted Forest Lrmd must be adequate to conserve forest <br /> land for impacted farm and forest uses and be consistent with the following <br /> criteria. <br /> <br />Exhibit B: Proposed amendments to Chapter III-C, Environmental Resources Element, Page 9 of 25 <br />of the Eugene-Springfield Metropohtan Plan (Metro Plan). <br /> <br /> <br />
