ORDIIITANCE N0. 8713 An Ordinance adopting the plans and specifications of the City Engineer for.~the construction of a sewer, as follows: Commencing on the North side of Twenty-second Avenue at the alley between Vaashington street and Jefferso street, running; thence South across Twenty-second Avenue, thence East to the East side of rdashington Street, thence South on the East side of `J~ashington street to Twenty-third Avenue, in the City of Eugene, Oregon; and declaring an emergency. V~tHEREAS, on the 26th day of January,l942, the Common Council of the City of Eugene passed Ordinance No.87___2_~"~for the construction of a sewer as described and set forth in the caption hereof, and VdHEREAS, Section 3 of said Ordinance directed the City Engineer to make plans and specifications foz• the construction of said sewer and file the same with the City Recorder, and V~REAS, in aeco¢~rdance with such instructions the City Engineer has prepared said plans and specifications and .filed the same with the City Recorder of said City of Eugene on the 26th day of January, 1942, and the Common Council of the City of Eugene having .examined and approved the same, and being duly advised in the premises, T~ CITY OF EUGEI~TE DOES Or~DAIN AS FOLLO~$aS: Section 1. That the plans and specifications of #,he City Engineer for tYle construction of a sewer to be laid as follows: on the East side of Vdasr~ington street from Twenty-second Avenue to Twenty-t~~ird Avenue, to-wit: Commencing an the North side of Twenty-second Avenue at the alley between ~Yasiiington street and Jefferson street, running thence South across Twenty- second Avenue., thence East to the East side of Washington Street, thence South on the East side of tiUashington street to Twenty-third Avenue, in the City of Eugene, Oregon; filed with the City F.ecorder on the 26th da,y of 7aauary, 1942, be and the same are in all things ratified, approved and adopted, and that said sewer be constructed in accordaace therewith. Section 2. That the City Recorder be and he is hereby instructed to give notice to contractors and to property owners as provided by the Charter of the City of Eugene for the letting of contracts for the construction of sewers. Section 3. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby declare that the contract for the construction of said sewer shall be let in one contract and the City Recorder is hereby directed to state in the notice to contractors and property owners that the contract for said improvement shall be let as one contract.
