Driveway, thence westerly along the South line of said road for a distance of 24U feet to a point over the water main leading into the Fairmount Reservoir, said water main being located 125.0 feet due ~°Jest from the initial corner thence Southerly along the line of said water main for a dista~~ce ~~f 190 feet to its intersection with the line of Hendrick's Para, thence along said park boundary North 45° East to beginning. and to serve the above property; filed vrith the City Recorder on tree 11th day of T,~iay, 1942, be and the same are in all things ratified, approved and adopted, and that said sewer be constructed in accordance therwith. Section 2. That the City Recorder be and he is hereby instructed to give n~~tiee to contractors and to property owners as provided by the Charter of the City oi' Eugene for the letting of contracts for the construction of sewers. Section v. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene does hereby declare that the contract f or• the construction of said sewer shall be let in one contract and the City Recorder is hereby directed to state in the notice to contractors and property owners that the contract for said improvement shall be let as one contract. Section 4. That the work on said improvement shall commence within ten days after the letting of the contract and shall be completed ~;~ithin thirty days thereafter. Section 5. The bidder receiving the contract for said im- provement shall execute a hood and sufficient bond with one or more surities to be approved by the Street Committee in the sum of eighty per cent (80 0} of the contract price, for the faithful performance of the contract. Section 6. Each person, firm, company, or corporation bidding upon said i~~proveliient shall accompany his bid vrith a certified check in the sum of 5 per cent of the amount bid as evidence of good faith and to guarantee tine entering into a contract in accordance with the bid submitted by him and the execution of the bond herein
