Whereas, the said street constitutes public property which the City of <br />Eugene is responsible for, and <br />Whereas, the said street is dangerous and difficult to maintain and it is to :the best <br />interest of the-City that it be placed back in provate ownership where the City will no <br />longer have responsibility for its being kept in a safe condition, now <br />u erefore, it is necessary that the street be closed at once and an emergency is hereby <br />declared to exist and it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the peace, health <br />and safety of the City of Eugene that this ordinance take effect immediately upon its passage. <br />by the Common Council and its approval by the Mayor, and it is so ordered. <br />Passed by the Common Council Approved by the Mayor this <br />this ].I~th day of May, 19l~5. 17th day of May, 191.5. <br />John Fields a Earl L.
