Acetylene generators shall be of appravad type. <br />X02 Calcium c~.rbide in excess of 6GC pounds but not ir. excess of 5,000 <br />pounGS, may be stored in a seyva.rate room or compartment inside s, one-story building <br />containing other occupancy, provided such room or compartment is separated by a <br />fire-resistive partition from other parts of the building, and without cellar or <br />basement underneath such carbide storage section. jkiia room or compartment <br />may also be used for storage of fuel gas cylinders. TI GIV'. <br />(a) Y~o ;oerson shall engage in the busine9s cf installing liquefied <br />petroleum or other type of compressed gas system or equipment used in connection <br />~•rith au.ch systems without first securing a license froci the Chief of the Bureau of <br />Fire Prevention. Such licenses shall be renewed annually and shall be subject to <br />revocation on violation of any of the ~crovisions of this ordi,~ance affecting such <br />systems. <br />(b) An application for a permit accompanied by plans sr,all be made to the <br />Chief of tree Bureau of Fire Prevention for all systems connected to liquefied <br />pe.tro?earn or other compressed gas storage ccntainere exceeding an aggregate o;' 150 <br />(~ gallons water capacity. <br />
