5~2 ~ <br />- - _ - - -- --rc -- - <br />Section 6. Any person violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance <br />shall, upon conviction thereof in the Municipal Court of the City of Eugene, or <br />.~ <br />upon a plea of guilty, be punished by fine not exceeding ~p200.00 and costs of <br />prosecution, and may be imprisoned in the City Jail one day for each $2.00 of such <br />fine unpaid. Any sewer cleaning device as herein described r~hich shall be operated <br />Within the City of Eugene without a license first having been obtained therefor, <br />shall be subject to confiscation. <br />Section 7. Whereas sewer cleaning devices as described in this Ordinance <br />are now being operated within the City of Eugene and it is hereby deemed to be <br />necessary for the immediate preservation .of the public peace, safety and health of <br />the City of Eugene that this Ordinance take effect immediately upon its passage, <br />therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall become <br />effective immediately upon its passage by the Common Council and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />Approved by the Mayor his <br />10th day of December, 1 Q1t6. <br />Passed by the Common Council <br />this 9th day of December, 19It6. <br />/s/ Earl L.
