5~5~ <br />oF~DIPJANCE rJe.8966 <br />An Ordinance vacatinU the follovri.rrg described area, to-wit: <br />That certain platted alleyvray running PJorth and South <br />through the block bounded by 13th !,venue East and 1l;th <br />Avenue East, on the North and South respectively, and <br />Emerald and Beech Streets on the ~~fest and East <br />respectively, in the City of Eugene, Oregon. <br />'~IHEREAS, heretofore and on the 9th day of December, 1946, the Common <br />Council of the City~of Eugene, passed an Ordinance setting a hearing for the 13th day <br />of January, 1947, at the Council Chambers, at which time and place protests and re- <br />monstrances could be heard as to the proposed vacation of the following premises, <br />to wit: <br />That certain platted a,lleyvsay running North and South <br />through the block bounded by 13th 1'ivenue East and 14th <br />Avenue East on the north and south respectively, and <br />Emerald and Beech Streets on the V7est and East <br />respectively, in said City cf Eugene; <br />and, <br />V~HEREAS, due notice was duly and regiil.arly given of said hearing and a <br />hearing was held pursuant to sa~_d Ordinance in the Council Chambers of the City Hall <br />in Eugene, on Monday, the 13th day of January, 1947, at 7:30 o'clock P.~,{., and at <br />said time the Council heard all objections; and <br />ViH~IEREAS, all persons otiming property abutting upon said alley proposed <br />to be vacated have consented to said vacation and have applied for the same . <br />THE CITY OF EUGEPJE DOES ORDAIPJ ~1S FOLIAV75: <br />Sect,i.on 1. The Common Council of the City of Eugene finds that due a.nd <br />regular notice of said hearing was published and posted as required by law and that <br />no valid objection has been made at said hearing or filed. That the consent of the <br />owners of the abutting property has been duly and regularly filed in said proceed- <br />ing and that the public interest will not be prejudiced by the vacation of said por- <br />tion of alley. <br />Section 2. That said hearing was held on the 13th day of January, 1947, <br />at 7:30 o'clock 1'. M., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall of Eugene, Lane <br />County, Oregon, and that all matters necessary to be done iri the premises have been <br />duly and regularly completed. <br />Section 3. That the following described area, to-wit: <br />That certain platted alleyway running PJorth and South <br />.through +,.1~e Block bounded by 13th Avenue East and 14th <br />Avenue East on the 1'Jorth and South respectively, and <br />Emerald and Beech Streets on the V~(est arrd East, <br />respectively, in said City of Eugene, <br />be and the same is hereby vacated and the area so vacated, being a portion cf the <br />public alley, shall revert to the abutting property owners pursuant to the statutes <br />
