~6 <br />Section 5. The tax_ imposed by this ordinance shall be deemed to be held in trust by <br />the licensee until the same shag have been paid to the City Recorder as hereinafter pro- <br />vided. <br />Section 6. Any licensees failing to promptly account and remit to the City Recorder <br />the license charge herein provided, shall be personally liable to the City for said funds,, <br />I <br />i <br />and in addition thereto shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this ordinance. <br />j Secti on 7. Nothing herein contained sha 11 be deemed to impair or lessen the regulatory <br />provisions of the various ordinances of the city Frith respect to the amusements herein <br />l <br />~ licensed. Provided, however, that no other or further license charge shall be imposed upon <br />I <br />any licensee hereunder. <br />Section &. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, and <br />particularly Ordinance #860 and Ordinance #g51g are hereby repealed. <br />Section a. Any person, firm, association or corporation violating any of the provis- <br />ions of this ordinance, either of omission or commission, shall upon conviction thereof <br />before the municipal court, be subject to a fine of not to exceed X200.00 and upon default <br />of payment, may be imprisoned in the city jail for one day for each $2.00 of the fine un- <br />paid; Such conviction shall automatically revoke the license of such person, firm, asso- <br />ciation or corporation, to be reinstated. only by affirmative action by the Council. <br />Passed by the Common Council <br />this 2~+th day of February, la~'8 <br />La/ Henry F.
