r4~ <br />--~_ <br />-- ;l <br />~~ <br />I~ <br />i ORDINANCE PJO. 9210 , <br />I <br />An Ordinance regulating the parking of trailer houses and trailer coaches within the ~, <br />I ' <br />City of Eugene providing for license fees for trailer coach camps and repealing Ordinance 1 <br />No. 8672 and all other ordinances in conflict herevrith and declaring an emergency. ~1 <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIPI AS FOLLOti'~fS: <br />~ Section 1 DEFINITIONS <br />TRAILER COACH CAMP: A lot or parcel of land. used for the accommodation of two or more <br />trailer coaches occupied as living or sleeping quarters. it <br />TRAILER COACH: Camp car, trailer house, trailer home, or any structure converted from <br />~~ <br />a trai ter into a living unit . <br />~~ <br />LOT: For the application of this Ordinance, a lot shall be construed to mean apar- ',~ <br />cel of land fronting on a public street vrith a minimum Yridth of sixty (60) feet and amini- , <br />mum area of six-thousand (6,000) square feet, or a parcel of_land vrith an average width of <br />ii <br />less than sixty (60) feet and an area of less than six-thousand (6,000) square feet it it '~ <br />existed as a recorded lot prior to the passage of this Ordinance. ~; <br />l <br />PERSON: deans any individual, firm, trust, partnership, association or corporation. ~! <br />;I <br />Section 2. PROHIBITION OF TRAILER COACH CAMPS ~ l <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to maintain or operate within the limits of the it <br />I. <br />~ City any trailer coach camp, except that a trailer camp existing prior to the passage of ' <br />~ this Ordinance m4y continue to operate; provided that; ~~ <br />~~ <br />I 1. It meets a17. the requirements established by the State Law governing tourist 'i <br />camps, in Section 99, Chapters 11~, and 15, Oregon Compiled Laws Annotated, as <br />~ amended. <br />2 . Tre number of trailer ~~ <br />parking units shall not be increased in number. ~~ <br />'i 3 . If the trailer c<~mp is discontinued for an~T reason for more than six (6) <br />months, it shall not be re-established. '' <br />!t. An existing trailer camp shall pay an annual license fee of TwentJ five ~~ <br />I Dollars (4?25.00) for each block of Une-hundred (100) trailer coach spaces, or !~ <br />fraction thereof', and an additional quarterly license fee of 'three Dollars ~'~ <br />'~ <br />03.00) for each trai_ter coach space which has been occupied during that b <br />quarter for a period of periods aggregating more than thirty (30) days. ii <br />' ,; <br />Section 3, i <br />I <br />It shall be unJ,avrful for any person to park or place a trailer house occupied as living <br />quarters ti~rithin the City of Eugene for a period exceeding three (3) hours unless the occupant E~ <br />II <br />shall have access at all hours to suitable places for a sanitary supply of water and for II <br />disposal of garbage, human excreta, and waste. <br />~i <br />Section 4. The parking of trailer houses occupied as living quarters within the City ~ <br />j~ <br />' of Eugene in other than trailer camps, as alloyed under Section.2, shall be limited to one (1) <br />~'' <br />~ ;, <br />I trailer per lot, and said trailer houses Gall lie liconsed b;,r ±he Building Inspector.: The ! <br />responsible person occupying said trailer house shall secure said license from the Building <br />Inspector within seven (7) days after occupying the site.
