<br />An Ordinance submitting the questi on to the electors of the City of Eugene and to the
<br />electors of the area hereinafter described, the question "For Annexation" or "Against
<br />Annexation" of such area and ordering a special election to be held in such area and in
<br />the City of Eugene on the 2nd day of November, 19148, designating ~:olling places, appoint-
<br />;' ing clerks and ,judges of electi on, and all acts necessary for the carrying on of the said

<br />'~ Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene hereby submits to the elect-
<br />~, ors of the City of Eugene and to tl-~ electors of the following d escribed area in the City

<br />~ of Eugene, to-wit:
<br />Beginning at a point on the present City Limits line of the City of. Eugene, Y;ane
<br />O -County, Oregon, said point being the Northeast corner of Lot 11, Block 38, of
<br />~ Frasier and Hyland Addition in Section 5, Tov~rnship 18 South, Range 3 1~test, of
<br />~ the V~fillamette Meridian; thence South along the tiTest line of Hilyard Street to
<br />the South line of Lakin Street extended; thence .East to the Southeast corner of

<br />~~ held in the City of Eugene, Oregon and to be held in the area described in Section 1, on

<br />~j the 2nd day of November, 1948, said election being a general election, which election

<br />there shall be submitted to the electors of said city and to the proposed annexati on area

<br />~i for their approval or rejection the proposal "For Annexation" or "Against Annexation" of
<br />` said area to the City of Eugene.
