<br />ORDINANCE N0. 9242
<br />An Ordinance levying assessment for the paving of Twentyfourth Avenue from .Hilyard to
<br />Alder Street, in the City •of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
<br />VJHENEAS, the Common Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9151, passed by
<br />the said Common Council on the 10th day of Tray, 1948, and approved by the ~'iavor thereof on
<br />the .lath day of Tray, 1918, determine to pave Twentyfourth Avenue from Hilyard to Alder Street,
<br />in the City of Lugene, Lane County, Oregon, and
<br />1~{EREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance with
<br />said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and amount
<br />~ to be assed have been ascertained to be,
<br />Amount paid contractor ~ 5213.89
<br />j 5% Engineering Charge 260.69
<br />Amount Assessed ~ 547.58
<br />VJIIEREAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the owners and reputed otimers of the herein-
<br />after designated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given and
<br />iln~compliance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Commoh Council of the
<br />Cit;,~ of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and the Common L'ouncil having heard any and
<br />all protests, objections and remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the
<br />same,
<br />THE CITY OF s GENE DOFF ORDAIN AS FELLOWS:
<br />Section 1. That the total cost of paving Twentyfourth Avenue from •Hilyard to Alder Street,
<br />in the Cit~r of Eu€;ene, is X5,474.58, as aforesaid, vrhich is by this Ordinance assessed against
<br />the parcel of property hereinafter described in the amount set opposite, respectively.
<br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon; does hereby determine
<br />and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-wit:
