<br />An ordinance levying assessment for the construction of concrete sidewalk on the East
<br />Side of Chula Vista Street from Tvventysixth ~'lvenue to Reed Avenue in the City of Eugene,
<br />Lane County, Oregon.
<br />VJ~iEREAS, the Comrrton Council of the City of Eugene did by Ordinance No. 9200, passed by
<br />1
<br />the said Common Council on the 26th day of July, 1948, and approved by the Mayor thereof on
<br />the 27tH day of July, 1948, determine to construct concrete sidewalk on the East Side of
<br />Chula Vista atreet from Twentysixth Avenue to Reed Avenue in the City of Eugene, Lane County,
<br />Oregon, and
<br />Vhf-IEREAS, the improvements above described and designated have been made in accordance
<br />with said Ordinance and the law in such case made and provided, and the costs thereof and
<br />amount to be assessed have been ascertained to be,
<br />Amount paid contractor ~ 878.47

<br />Amount assessed ~ 922.39
<br />WI-~REAS, notice of the proposed assessment to the ovmers and reputed ovmers of the here-
<br />inafter designated parcel of real property having been heretofore duly and regularly given
<br />and in compliance with 'the provisions of Ordinance No. 1510, passed by the Common Council
<br />of the City of Eugene on the 20th day of April, 1914, and approved by the Mayor thereof on
<br />the 20th day of April, 1914, and the Common Council having heard any and all protests, objec-
<br />tions and remonstrances thereto and having heard and fully considered the same,

<br />Section 1. That the total cost of constructing a concrete sidewalk on the East side

<br />of Chula Vis to Street from Twentysixth Avenue to Reed Avenue in the City of Eugene, is
<br />X922.39, as aforesaid, ~rrhich is by this Ordinance assessed against the parcel of property
<br />hereinafter described in the amount set opposite, respectively.
<br />Section 2. That the Common Council of the City of P~u~rE:ne, Oregon, does hereby deter-
<br />mine and assess each lot and part of lot being in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, to-vrit:
