RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />As councilors developed these strategic priorities, they were mindful of the current vision and goals <br />statements. All priority issues intertwine and overlap with the six goals statements, which are: <br /> <br /> Safe Community <br /> Sustainable Community Development <br /> Healthy Natural and Built Environment <br /> Accessible and Thriving Culture and Recreation <br /> Effective, Accountable Municipal Government <br /> Fair, Stable and Adequate Financial Resources <br /> <br />The councilors agreed that a thorough examination of budgetary implications relating to all of its new <br />priority issues is imperative in order to appropriately implement them. Several of the priority issues will <br />be approached as multi-year strategies.
