Eugene City Council Retreat <br />February 25-26, 2005 <br /> <br />Concluding Comments <br /> <br />Kitty - Didn't mind giving time at all; very worthwhile; appreciate participation and staff <br />attendance <br /> <br />George - Good experience to sit through this - learn a lot from listening; Session went <br />better than last year; exchange was more productive and less antagonistic <br /> <br />Jennifer- Good all around! Lynda, thanks for good space. We have a product to be <br />proud of <br /> <br />Chris - Went really well! Like goals we came up with; happy to see emerging <br />consensus; love the discussion <br /> <br />Jim - surprised there are eight goals - impressed with the list; it is daunting and will take <br />time to achieve <br /> <br />Lauren - Appreciate being in attendance; surprised no goal around revenue - not talking <br />overarching issue of financing services <br /> <br />Tom T. - Very impressed with Council's efforts; will communicate goals back to Fire <br />Department; appreciate support of station 9; Want to help support the Council <br /> <br />Angel - Appreciate being in the room; like to hear the conversation that leads up to what <br />gets printed; really glad to see race relations on the list- sends the right message to <br />community and staff <br /> <br />Tom - Like to understand how we got to the eight goals - will benefit throughout the <br />year <br /> <br />Betty - Better than last year; liked restraint of staff not trying to influence us; appreciate <br />being polite and considerate; new people are an asset; would have like it to be shorter <br />and wish we had adopted tax reform as an issue <br /> <br />Andrea - Good time; liked the interaction; appreciate dialogue; good to sit with <br />executives <br /> <br />Bonnie - Logistics excellent - felt very supported; valuable to have exec's here; format <br />more interactive and casual - helped dialogue; Goals were adopted; came up with a <br />very balanced set of goals; very pleased; maybe funding strategy can come back at a <br />worksession <br /> <br />David - Thanks to everyone in the room; am basking in the success - real cooperative <br />spirit and new energy that am really pleased by; very productive; excellent logistics - felt <br />supported; really like having more extensive discussions; pleased exec's were here; glad <br />you could hear what we had to say and could give advice/input when we needed it <br /> <br />Gary - Echo thanks; special thanks to the new people; most productive session; <br />appreciate exec's being here; amazed at productivity; these are OUR goals; can look <br />forward to this for next year <br />Management Partners, Inc. 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
