Wong, Administrative Services Director <br />SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET #1 <br />November 26, 1996 <br /> <br />Supplemental Budget #1 (SB#l) is scheduled for your December 2 meeting. Included in SB#l <br />will be proposals to use a portion of General Fund Contingency and the distribution of Marginal <br />Beginning Working Capital (the difference between Actual Ending Working Capital in the prior <br />year and Budgeted Beginning Working Capital for the current year). The recommendation in <br />these two areas is outlined below. <br /> <br />General Fund Contingency <br /> <br />Requests which have received prior Council approval: <br /> <br />Applegate Trail Wagon Train event <br />Wireless Communications Siting Study <br />Project Link (linking people with disabilities with <br />housing units constructed for accessibility) <br />Study of potential revenue sources for affordable housing <br />Portable toilets <br /> <br />$ 500 <br />$ 28,000 <br /> <br />$ 3,000 <br />$ 3,000 <br />$ 4,500 <br /> <br />Additional requests: <br /> <br />Election and Voters Pamphlet Expenses <br /> <br />$ 20,000 <br /> <br />The cost of the November election is expected <br />to be $20,000. Costs are for the Voters <br />Pamphlet and signature verification on the <br />toxic materials reporting initiative. <br />
